Currently the SVA at PSU is soliciting funds for our first set of veterans’ scholarships. When finished we will give out five 1,500 dollar scholarship to student vets at PSU, who are in the most need. The scholarships will be awarded in August 09. The New GI Bill will support many vets in a way not seen since WWII. However, there are some vets that it will not reach. That is why we feel this scholarship is very important, as it will supplement that bill. Please read the following and if able, make a donation to this scholarship. Also be advised that every dollar you give will be matched by an outside organization. So currently if you give 750 dollars, that will be matched and one scholarship will be paid for. Just like that. Special note: Three percent of your donation will go to the PSU Foundation for administrative costs. If you wish for a specific amount to go directly to the SVA scholarship fund, please add an additional three percent to the gift amount. Thank you!
